September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We pray with and join our Indigenous brothers and sisters in activities organized in our communities.

Enoch Cree Nation – Sep. 30 – Walk through the community.

A special mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Richard Smith in St. Joseph Basilica on September 30, 2023 at 5 pm.

October 1, 2023

Lac Ste Anne Parish and Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation will celebrate this special day on Oct 1, 2023 at 10 am.

Mass of Reconciliation in Lac Ste Anne Church.

Speakers : Chief Tony Alexis, prayer in four directions Rod Alexis and drummer Eugene Alexis.

After the Mass we have prayer by elders at “our healing tree” and tying ribbons on the tree by the grotto.
