Our Journey Begins

On Sunday, September 27, 2026, we marked the beginning of the 2026 OMI Lacombe Canada Convocation – 200 Years of Grace: A Future We Shape in Hope.

Participants arrived in Edmonton from across Canada and beyond and gathered at the St. Albert Inn for an afternoon Meet and Greet, a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and welcome new ones.

Following dinner together, the Convocation officially began with an evening session led by our facilitator, Fr. Gilles Mongeau, SJ, who introduced the theme and outlined the process that will guide our conversations and reflections throughout the week.

With a spirit of reunion, fellowship and hope, our journey together has begun!
