De Mazenod Experience: Upcoming Sessions
The Foundation House in Aix eagerly awaits participants for the next de Mazenod Experience sessions in French (September 2025), English (April 2026) and Spanish (September 2026).
The de Mazenod Experience (DMX) is an ongoing formation renewal programme which enables participants to make a personal assessment of their experience of the Oblate charism in the day-to-day life of the mission, within a framework of prayer, reflection and fraternal sharing. A 15-day retreat is included in the session programme. It is directed to Oblates who have accomplished at least ten years in missionary life.
These are the dates for the following De Mazenod Experience sessions:
- September 16 to November 14, 2025 (in French)
- April 15-June 11, 2026 (in English)
- September 16-November 12, 2026 (in Spanish)
Registration
Major Superiors are expected to submit the names of candidates from their units for these sessions, indicating the candidate’s name, years of oblation, the candidate’s contact information and the session in which they would participate. Be aware that the process of obtaining a visa must begin at least three months before the beginning of the session. Please send this information to edm@oblats-aix.fr.
A reminder
Units with candidates for the 2026 sessions who need to appeal to the Solidarity Fund should apply before the end of June 2025. The request must be made to the General Administration.
