Kusenberger Chair of Oblate Studies
In recent years, there has been a noticeable growth and interest in the charism, spirituality, and mission of the Oblates. The Kusenberger Chair of Oblate Studies is, therefore, responding to this by providing the opportunity to study some of these aspects in greater depth.
If you are interested in learning more, please consult these brochures and enroll as soon as possible as courses start January 24, 2022.

Our website gives an idea of our activities (https://sites.google.com/site/oblatestudies/home). Our aim is to assist you in your unit’s missionary efforts to evangelize the most abandoned entrusted to your care. Apart from the academic degree courses, we offer a Certificate in Oblate Studies which is aimed at giving the participants a good overall foundation in Saint Eugene’s life and charism, our Oblate spirituality, the history of Oblate missionary expansion (with a particular focus on the unit where the participant is), the Constitutions and Rules, and an in-depth study of the meaning of oblation. It can be done for certificate purposes (with guided reading and assignments) or people can do individual courses for enrichment purposes (where all the material is available but no assignments are expected). The courses are fully online and can be viewed at times suiting the participant’s convenience.
