Camino Star of the North / Estrella del Norte
Join us to walk in support of the Star’s ministries of adult spiritual formation and renewal. Begin a prayerful pilgrimage to the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto in St. Albert, next to The Star of the North, and return to the Grotto on one of 3 choice routes: a 1 km, 2,5 km, or 5 km walk.
Collect sponsors and bring your friends – start at the Star and finish back there with refreshments and fun!
Your walk can include several brief stops to pray, and will certainly be a time of invigoration and fellowship.
Star Camino 2026 invites you to walk a contemplative path with others who seek quiet, depth, and honest encounter with the Creator. Along the way, you’ll be supported in listening to your own story, your longings, and the wisdom of the Christian tradition.
Rooted in Star of the North’s mission of hospitality, healing, and care for creation, this journey offers gentle structure, spiritual accompaniment, and time for prayerful reflection.

- 9:00am Opening Prayer Ritual at Grotto
- 9:15am Start the Pilgrimage of Hope walk
- 11:00am Estimated Finish and Gathering at The Star Gazebo
- 11:15am Brunch and Closing Reflection
This year, your pilgrim support and the sponsors who support your walk, will give hope:
– to Inner City Men and Women participating in weekend Wellness Retreats. You and your sponsors can help us raise $17,600.
– to sponsor subsidies for participants and groups of various Star programs $13,400
–Help us reach our goal of $30,000 for this year’s needs.
Register to walk ($50 individual/$100 for team or family of four), set a goal, and begin your pilgrimage of hope in support of the Star.
