Catholic Principles for a Just Recovery

On June 25th, the Galilee Centre in Arnprior held a webinar on ”Catholic Principles for a Just Recovery.”  The basis of the discussion was a brief prepared by Joe Gunn and Sister Sue Wilson, Director of the Office of Systemic Justice for the Federation of Sisters of St. Joseph of Canada.  This brief was presented a few weeks ago to two Standing Committees of the Parliament of Canada.  The 10 page brief was circulated to other religious congregations, members of Joint Ecological Ministries, and several of those orders used sections in their own briefs to the Parliamentary consultation process concerning what Canada’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic should look like.
