Starlight – A Fundraiser Dinner
You’re Invited to join us at Starlight!
Dear Friends,
As we prepare for our upcoming gathering on May 21st, the Feast Day of St. Eugene de Mazenod, we wanted to reach out with a gentle reminder—and a renewed invitation.
This evening is more than a celebration of 200 years. It is an opportunity to come together in a spirit of encounter: to reconnect, to listen, and to remember that mission is something we live—together.
At Star of the North, we see this work unfold every day. When people gather with intention, something shifts. Space is created for prayer, for honest conversation, and for the kind of renewal that strengthens both individuals and communities. This is the heart of what we hope to share with you.
To help bring this invitation to life, Father Ken Forster, OMI, has recorded a short message.
In it, Fr. Ken speaks to the shared mission we are part of—including the growth of the mission in Kenya and the construction of a new retreat house in Kisaju, a project supported through MAMI. Funds raised through this evening will be shared between Star of the North’s ministry in Canada and this important work in Kenya.
If you have already responded, thank you. Your presence is a gift.
If you are still discerning, we warmly invite you to join us. Your presence matters—not simply as support for this event, but as part of a larger shared mission rooted in hope, healing, and community.
We would be honoured to gather with you.
In gratitude and hope,
Lucie Leduc
