For families living in and around Guatemala City, access to basic health care can be difficult. The St. Eugene Health Clinic is part of the Oblate Mission to walking alongside people through responding to the needs of their communities.
This clinic provides space for medical consultations, dentistry, X-ray services, a pharmacy and health education. With the right equipment and resources, it can continue to offer essential care to families who might otherwise have limited access to these services.
The Oblate mission in Guatemala continues to grow as missionaries respond to the needs of local communities. One unique aspect of this mission is inspiring young men to consider a life of missionary service. Through their experience of the Oblate community and its commitment to serving others, some are discerning a call to become Missionary Oblates themselves.
