As a community, we pray for:

Miguel Angel Camaja, will have surgery on his back in the hope of healing vertebrae in December.

Dwayne Arcand for cancer in one kidney also waiting for surgery.

The repose of the soul of Alex Stang and for comfort for his family. Alex, Bill Stang’s younger brother, died in a car accident in Edmonton.

The Oblate Council as they meet next week.

For Jacynthe and Audrey who are grieving the loss of both their parents who died a few weeks apart.

We continue to pray for:

The repose of the soul of Sandi Cunningham, David and Karen Saxes’ friend who passed away recently.

Also, rest in peace, Kelly and Gwen.

Brian D., son-in-law of JoAnne Chrones and Brian Zimmer, who is having surgery this week.

Fr. Richard Beaudette, as he continues his recovery.

T and E who are struggling with infertility.

Ashley who is seeking employment after a long hiatus.

For Nathan as he looks for a job.

For vocations to religious life, especially to Oblate religious life as religious life as priests and brothers, and to the Oblate Association.

O Holy Spirit, give me stillness of soul in you.
Calm the turmoil within, with the gentleness of your peace.
Quiet the anxiety within, with a deep trust in you.
Heal the wounds of sin within, with the joy of your forgiveness.
Strengthen the faith within, with the awareness of your presence.
Confirm the hope within, with the knowledge of your strength.
Give fullness to the love within, with an outpouring of your love.
O Holy Spirit, be to me a source of light, strength and courage
so that I may hear your call ever more clearly
and follow you more generously. Amen [William Browning, C.P]
