Prayer Corner
‘At the foot of the Cross:’ Saint Eugene’s Prayer Group

Week 17
December 3, 2021

As a community, we pray for:

For MV who is waiting for surgery for a benign tumor and is in pain.

For ZP’s mom who had a mini stroke yesterday.

Frances Ann and Kacie who are struggling with mental health issues.

Denise, who is dealing with multiple and serious health problems and who fell and broke her hip this past week.

Father Heinner and the community at Sandy Bay as they deal with the recent deaths.

Those who have been affected on both coasts with the rains and mud slides.

Our leaders that they would take seriously climate change and act NOW.

We continue to pray for

Miguel Angel Camaja, and his back surgery.

Dwayne Arcand for cancer in one kidney also waiting for surgery.

The repose of the soul of Alex Stang and for comfort his family. Alex, Bill Stang’s younger brother, died in a car accident in Edmonton.

The Oblate Council as they meet this week.

Brian D., son-in-law of JoAnne Chrones and Brian Zimmer, as he continues healing after his surgery.

Fr. Richard Beaudette, as he continues his recovery.

T and E who are struggling with infertility.

Ashley who is seeking to heal from trauma.

For vocations to religious life, especially to Oblate religious life as religious life as priests and brothers, and to the Oblate Association.

Optional prayer:

God of hope, who brought love into this world,
be the love that dwells between us.
God of hope, who brought peace into this world,
be the peace that dwells between us.
God of hope, who brought joy into this world,
be the joy that dwells between us.
God of hope, the rock we stand upon,
be the centre, the focus of our lives
always, and particularly this Advent time.

Amen
