Week 12
March 24, 2022

Hello everyone,

This week might we join with Pope Francis in consecrating Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on March 25, 2022?

As a community, we continue to pray for:

Fr. Phil Smith, OMI is now receiving palliative care. We pray for Phil at this time as well as for all those responsible for his care. We also remember Phil’s community at Pandosy Place.

For F, a young teenager struggling with suicidal thoughts and for his family.

For Christopher, who is suffering serious health issues.

Maureen Pinsonneault, HOMI  who is now in palliative care.

Margaret Holden (mother of Associate Cathy Holden), she is currently in the hospital.

Eleanor’s sister, Mary Cooke, who is seriously ill and in the hospital.

Ashley, whose mental and emotional health issues continue to seriously affect her life.

The generous ‘Yes’ of men to an Oblate life and of men and women to Oblate Association.

Novena Prayers for Peace in Ukraine

Father in Heaven, have mercy on us and on the whole world!

You sent Your Son, the Prince of Peace, for the salvation of the world.

We pray that the Peace of Christ will reign in Ukraine.

Please protect and send aid to those in Ukraine and all who are at-risk.

We pray for peace – we pray for all who are working towards it and for all who are in danger from this conflict.

We pray for an end to violence and war – we pray for wisdom for all leaders who have a hand in this.

Lord God, please help those in most need of thy mercy.

Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us!

Saint Joseph, Protector of Mary, Jesus and the Church, pray for us!

Lord Jesus, Prince of Peace, may your kingdom reign in Ukraine and all the world. Amen.
