Prayer Corner
‘At the foot of the Cross:’ Saint Eugene’s Prayer Group

Week 13
March 30, 2022

As a community, we pray for:

Ron Dechant, OMI, who is hospitalized after having a stroke.

Terry Conway, OMI, who is in hospital for tests.

Gerry Gerling, a supporter of Star of the North Retreat Center, asks for prayers for his daughter’s father-in-law who is undergoing chemotherapy.

We continue to remember in prayer:

Phil Smith, OMI is receiving palliative care.

For F, a young teenager struggling with suicidal thoughts, and for his family.

For Christopher, who is suffering serious health issues.

Maureen Pinsonneault, H. OMI, who is now in palliative care.

Eleanor’s sister, Mary Cooke, who continues to receive hospital care.

Ashley, whose mental and emotional health issues continue to seriously affect her life.

The generous ‘yes’ of men to an Oblate life and of men and women to Oblate Association.

We pray for all our brothers and sisters in need, and for their caregivers, families and friends.

We pray for the Metis, Inuit and First Nations communities meeting with Pope Francis this week.

We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine

God of реасе and justice,
we pray for the реорІе of Ukraine today.
We pray for реасе and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for аІІ those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or реасе,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.
Above аІІ, we pray for аІІ your precious children, at-risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Реасе.
Amen.
