Prayer Corner
‘At the foot of the Cross:’ Saint Eugene’s Prayer Group
Week 24
June 14, 2022
As a community, we pray for:
Maureen Pinsonneault, H.OMI, who died on June 11, in Ottawa. Maureen was the sister of our brother Brian Kerr (former Oblate and Oblate associate) who died last November, and sister-in-law of our sister Colleen Kerr (Oblate associate).
Maureen has been part of the Oblate family since she was a young girl helping at St. Joseph’s Parish. Her family thanks everyone who has been praying for her. Your prayers meant a lot to Maureen as well as her family and those closest to her. Information about funeral arrangements will be shared once they have been finalized.
Peter Nolan (ex husband of Oblate Associate Sheila Nolan), who died on June 7, 2022.
We continue to remember in prayer:
Micah, granddaughter of Colleen Kerr, as she struggles in her personal life.
Eleanor Rabnett’s sister Mary Cooke, who has been diagnosed with dementia. Mary and her husband Anthony are receiving help so that she can remain at home with Anthony, at least for the short term. They are all grateful for your prayers.
All those in our families and community who are living with illness of any kind. We remember Oblates Edmond Paradis, Phil Smith, Ron Dechant, Terry Conway, and Jim Dukowski, as they deal with medical issues.
Ashley, whose mental and emotional health issues seriously affect her life.
The generous ‘yes’ of men to an Oblate life and of men and women to Oblate Association.
We pray for all our brothers and sisters in need, and for their caregivers, families, and friends.
We continue to pray for our Metis, Inuit and First Nations brothers and sisters.
