As a community, we pray for:

Bernard Pinet, OMI who is in hospital in Winnipeg awaiting test results.

Jean-Paul Isabelle, OMI, who is recovering from a heart attack.

Henri Bisson, OMI is nearing the end of his life at Taché Centre.

For ongoing mental health supports at school and in the community for Ethan and his family.

For Bella and her family as they navigate the mental health challenges after being assaulted. May she experience God’s healing.

Prayers of gratitude to God together with Barry Walz, brother of Brenda Friedt, who recently learned his cancer is in remission.

We continue to pray for:

Paul Fachet, who remains in hospital.

Tom, as he deals with serious health issues.

Rosie Paner, who is suffering advanced cancer. Rosie is the wife of one of the chefs at Springhurst Residence, Ottawa.

Tanya Boyle, Helene Dahl, and Colleen O who have cancer.

Ashley and Micah, who struggle with personal issues.

All the members of our communities and families who are struggling with their health.

The generous ‘yes’ of men to an Oblate life and of men and women to Oblate Association.

Prayer for the 37th General Chapter
Pilgrims of Hope in Communion

God of Infinite Goodness,
We thank you for all the blessings, poured out upon our Congregation and our extended Oblate family. As we approach our General Chapter, we call for a fresh outpouring of your Holy Spirit.

We are grateful to you for our charism gifted to us through our Founder, St. Eugene, and kept alive through the dedicated lives of all who live that charism with creative fidelity and apostolic zeal.

On this pilgrimage of hope, set our hearts on fire and give us new life to carry out our mission, strengthen our resolve to be in communion with you, with one another and with our broken world.

In our service to the poor and suffering, grant us a renewal of our lives and a greater commitment and dedication to our mission.

We offer this prayer, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, and through the intercession of Mary Immaculate, St. Eugene and our Blessed Oblates. Amen.

We continue to pray for our Metis, Inuit and First Nations brothers and sisters.

We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine.

God of реасе and justice,
we pray for the реорІе of Ukraine today.
We pray for реасе and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for аІІ those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or реасе,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.
Above аІІ, we pray for аІІ your precious children, at-risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Реасе.
Amen.
