Prayer Corner
‘At the foot of the Cross:’ Saint Eugene’s Prayer Group
Week 3
January 18, 2023
As a community, we pray for:
Jean Belanger, HOMI and his family. Jean is struggling with dementia. We keep Jean and all his family in our prayers.
Eileen and Reb Materi, who are suffering from health issues.
We continue to pray for:
All those in our community and families who are ill and have asked for our prayers. We also pray for those who love them, and those who care for their needs. We pray especially for Klaus, Frs. Edmond Paradis, Bill McDonald, Paul Fachet, Roy Boucher, and Fred Groleau; 5-year-old Rylee, and her family, as she battles leukaemia; Lil Cook, Ethan and family, Bella, Rosie, Tanya, Colleen and Rose.
Andrea and her journey to recovery from drug addictions.
Ashley and Micah, who struggle with personal issues.
The generous ‘yes’ of men to an Oblate life and of men and women to Oblate Association.
We continue to pray for our Metis, Inuit and First Nations brothers and sisters.
We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine.
God of реасе and justice,
we pray for the реорІе of Ukraine today.
We pray for реасе and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for аІІ those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or реасе,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.
Above аІІ, we pray for аІІ your precious children, at-risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Реасе.
Amen.
