Prayer Corner
‘At the foot of the Cross:’ Saint Eugene’s Prayer Group
Week 5
February 1, 2023
As a community, we pray for:
George Rolheiser, brother of Frs. Wendelin and Ron Rolheiser, who died unexpectedly this past Sunday. George was a pillar of faith in their home community, and in the Diocese of Saskatoon. He was so loved by his family and many others.

Our continued prayers for 5-year-old Rylee. This is a message from her grandma: Thank you for all your prayers. So far Rylee has had 6 blood transfusions and 5 lumbar punctures (chemo into her spine). She is finally off the steroids which made her gain 13 pounds. They made her so miserable, which is unlike her. She has 6 phases of chemo to go through for the next 2 years. Such a long road ahead of her. Rylee has been such a trooper through all this.
M and his partner A, for a safe pregnancy and a successful resolution of their complications.
We continue to pray for:
All those in our community and families who are ill and have asked for our prayers. We also pray for those who love them, and those who care for their needs.
We pray especially for Frs. Mike McCarthy, Terry Conway, Edmond Paradis, Bill McDonald, Paul Fachet, Roy Boucher; Jean Belanger, H.OMI; Eileen and Reb Materi; Klaus, Rylee, and her family, Lil Cook, Ethan and family, Bella, Rosie, Tanya, Colleen and Rose.
Andrea and her journey to recovery from drug addictions.
Ashley and Micah, who struggle with personal issues.
The generous ‘yes’ of men to an Oblate life and of men and women to Oblate Association.
We continue to pray for our Metis, Inuit and First Nations brothers and sisters.
We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine.
God of реасе and justice,
we pray for the реорІе of Ukraine today.
We pray for реасе and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for аІІ those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or реасе,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.
Above аІІ, we pray for аІІ your precious children, at-risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Реасе.
Amen.
