‘At the foot of the Cross:’ Saint Eugene’s Prayer Group

Week 11

As a community, we pray for: 

Gwen Hayes, who died on March 9. Gwen was Brian Kerr’s sister, Colleen’s sister-in-law, and the last of the Kerr siblings. We pray for the peace and consolation of their families.

Maurice Joly, OMI, who was in hospital in Edmonton and is now recovering at Foyer Lacombe.

Joe H, who is suffering from cancer and will have a difficult road ahead as they proceed with chemotherapy. We pray for strength, hope and consolation for all his family.

Margaret Holden, mother of Cathy Holden (Brother Anthony). Margaret is currently in hospital, and we pray for her health and well-being.

We continue to pray for:

All those in our community and families who are ill and have asked for our prayers. We also pray for those who love them, and those who care for their needs.

Amy Ricardo, from the OMI Lacombe Canada Provincial office, who continues her recovery from a stroke.

Monica, who lives with epilepsy and is hoping to be able to get a service dog.

Jerry Prazma, OMI, who is recovering from a stroke.

Terry Conway, OMI, who is in hospital in Vancouver.

Laurent Alarie, OMI, whose health is declining.

Rose, who is suffering from depression.

Shelley, for health and blessings.

Christine Godbout, for health and blessings.

Paul, who is suffering with many health issues and for his wife Janet who is supporting him.

Brian who has prostate cancer and is trying to discern the best treatment option for himself.

God of реасе and justice,
we pray for the реорІе of Ukraine today.
We pray for реасе and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for аІІ those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or реасе,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.
Above аІІ, we pray for аІІ your precious children, at-risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Реасе.
