Prayer Corner
‘At the foot of the Cross:’ Saint Eugene’s Prayer Group

Week 14
April 5, 2023

As a community, we pray for:

Rosie Payner (wife of Alan, the chef at Springhurst) who died on March 28. Rosie had been on our prayer list for some time. We pray for the strength and consolation of their family. Rest in God’s peace, Rosie.

For Mac, Abbie and Baby D, for a healthy baby.

For Jaxon’s swift recovery from major surgery.

For Elaine and Bernie & children for a resolution to family challenges.

For Armand J, as he deals with end-of-life health issues, and for peace for his large family who loves him so much.

We continue to pray for:

All those in our community and families who are ill and have asked for our prayers. We pray for those who love them, and those who care for their needs.

Matt S who is having heart issues.
Sisters Rory and Micah, for health and blessings
Eileen Materi

The generous ‘yes’ of men to an Oblate life and of men and women to Oblate Association.

We continue to pray for our Metis, Inuit and First Nations brothers and sisters.

We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine.

God of реасе and justice,
we pray for the реорІе of Ukraine today.
We pray for реасе and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for аІІ those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or реасе,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.
Above аІІ, we pray for аІІ your precious children, at-risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Реасе.
Amen.
