Prayer Corner
‘At the foot of the Cross:’ Saint Eugene’s Prayer Group

Week 16
April 19, 2023

As a community, we pray for:

Fr. Terry Conway, who died on April 16, in Vancouver. We lift him up in prayer with gratitude as we remember his life and his ministry. Please bring comfort and peace to those who mourn his loss. May they find hope in your loving presence and the promise of eternal life.

Hubert Dechant, brother of Fr. Mike Dechant, who died on Friday, April 14. We offer our sympathy and prayers to Fr. Mike and all the members of the Dechant family.

Baby Charlie, who will be undergoing surgery tomorrow.

Ron Rolheiser, as he undergoes more tests for cancer and treatment.

For Warren, recently diagnosed with cancer, and for his wife Bev and their family. Bev is the sister of Glenn Zimmer, brother-in-law to Warren.

For Dion, eldest nephew of Glenn Zimmer, and for their family. Dion died by suicide on April 17. We pray that God will bring Dion into loving arms and grant him peace and rest. We also pray for those who are left behind, that they would find comfort and hope in the promise of seeing their loved one again.

We continue to pray for:

All those in our community and families who are ill and have asked for our prayers. We pray for those who love them, and those who care for their needs.

Albert St. Louis who is undergoing tests and waiting for results.
Melissa who is suffering from severe depression.
