Prayer Corner
‘At the foot of the Cross:’ Saint Eugene’s Prayer Group

Week 25
June 13, 2023

As a community, we pray for:

Shannon, who will be having an angiogram on Thursday.

For the Provincial Council meeting this week: We ask you to bless this team and give them great vision and enthusiasm for their work. Bless the efforts of their hands, the bonds between them and their service to the Oblate community and the people whom they serve. As they plan and share together, guide them by your Holy Spirit.

We continue to pray for:

All those in our community and families who are ill and have asked for our prayers. We pray for those who love them and those who care for their needs.

Margaret Holden, mother of Cathy Holden/Greg Saretsky (Br. Anthony District) who is in hospice care. Comfort all of them, and welcome Margaret into eternal life.

Karine, who was diagnosed with breast cancer.

Bridget, only 8 years old and in very poor health.

Micah, granddaughter of Colleen Kerr, who is in a treatment program. We pray for Micah’s family as well. They are so grateful for the on-going prayers and support.

Trayton, who suffers from depression.

The generous ‘yes’ of men to an Oblate life and of men and women to Oblate Association.

We continue to pray for our Metis, Inuit and First Nations brothers and sisters.

We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine.

God of реасе and justice,
we pray for the реорІе of Ukraine today.
We pray for реасе and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for аІІ those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or реасе,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.
Above аІІ, we pray for аІІ your precious children, at-risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Реасе.
Amen.
