Prayer Corner
‘At the foot of the Cross:’ Saint Eugene’s Prayer Group
Week 26
June 21, 2023
As a community, we pray for:
P & J, for healing and peace in their family.
Cathy Cavanaugh, sister of Br. Tom Cavanaugh, who died on June 15th. We pray for the Cavanaugh family and all those who loved Cathy.
Don Claerhout, OMI, who is experiencing some medical issues.
Paul Fachet, OMI, that he may find peace as he continues to experience the challenges of aging and physical limitations.
Adam S, who has recently been diagnosed with cancer, that he be granted strength for the treatments.
For all the new graduates in our families as the school year comes to an end. May God grant them clarity as they discern their future paths.
We continue to pray for:
All those in our community and families who are ill and have asked for our prayers. We pray for those who love them, and those who care for their needs.
Margaret Holden, mother of Cathy Holden/Greg Saretsky (Br. Anthony District) who is in hospice care. Comfort all of them, and welcome Margaret into eternal life.
Micah, granddaughter of Colleen, as she continues her journey to wellness.
The generous ‘yes’ of men to an Oblate life and of men and women to Oblate Association.
We continue to pray for our Metis, Inuit and First Nations brothers and sisters.
We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine.
God of реасе and justice,
we pray for the реорІе of Ukraine today.
We pray for реасе and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for аІІ those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or реасе,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.
Above аІІ, we pray for аІІ your precious children, at-risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Реасе.
Amen.
