Prayer Corner
‘At the foot of the Cross:’ Saint Eugene’s Prayer Group
Week 31
July 26, 2023
As a community, we pray for:
Margaret Holden, mother of Cathy Holden-Saretsky, and Greg Saretsky, (Br. Anthony Community) who died on July 15. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. We ask God to bless those who mourn her loss, with the comfort of your love.
Edgar, who is suffering from multiple myeloma.
Healing for Eleanor who is experiencing several health issues.
Luc who is struggling with mental health issues.
TJ who is dealing with mental health issues.
Gilles Gauthier, OMI (Br. Anthony Community) who was admitted to Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton on Sunday, with pneumonia. Fr. Gilles has been residing at West Country Hearth in Villeneuve, AB for a number of years.
Claude Tardif, OMI (Ontario District Community) who is in hospital. The medical staff are working to help Claude regain his strength to enable him to walk more easily.
We continue to pray for:
All those in our community and families who have asked for our prayers. We pray for those who love them, and those who care for their needs.
Ron Rolheiser, OMI, who will be undergoing cancer surgery in August.
Micah, as she continues her journey of healing. We pray for Micah’s family as well.
All our family and community members as they experience the challenges of aging and infirmity.
The generous ‘yes’ of men to an Oblate life and of men and women to Oblate Association.
We continue to pray for our Metis, Inuit and First Nations brothers and sisters.
We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine.
God of реасе and justice,
we pray for the реорІе of Ukraine today.
We pray for реасе and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for аІІ those who fear for tomorrow,

for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.
Above аІІ, we pray for аІІ your precious children, at-risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Реасе.
Amen.
