‘At the foot of the Cross:’ Saint Eugene’s Prayer Group

Week 35
August 23, 2023

As a community, we pray for:

Greg Wigle who has serious kidney problems and is very ill with cancer.

David Groves, just diagnosed with bladder cancer and is facing uncertainty ahead.

Colin, who has ALS and is nearing the end of his life, and for his young family and all those who love him.

Ron Rolheiser, OMI, who is recovering well from his surgery last Wednesday.

Eleanor, who will be having medical testing in the coming weeks.

Stephanie, who has breast cancer.

David Munoz (San Antonio) who had a malignant brain tumour removed and will be starting radiation and chemotherapy.

All those from the Kelowna and Yellowknife areas who are affected by the fires.

We continue to pray for:

All those in our community and families who have asked for our prayers. We pray for those who love them, and those who care for their needs.

Gilles Gauthier, OMI, Claude Tardif, OMI, Ron Zimmer, OMI and all our elders and family members as they experience the challenges of aging and infirmity.

Micah, as she continues her journey of healing. We pray for Micah’s family as well.

All our family and community members as they experience the challenges of aging and infirmity.

The generous ‘yes’ of men to an Oblate life and of men and women to Oblate Association.

We continue to pray for our Metis, Inuit and First Nations brothers and sisters.

We continue to pray for the people of Ukraine.

God of реасе and justice,
we pray for the реорІе of Ukraine today.
We pray for реасе and the laying down of weapons.
We pray for аІІ those who fear for tomorrow,
that your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for those with power over war or реасе,
for wisdom, discernment and compassion to guide their decisions.
Above аІІ, we pray for аІІ your precious children, at-risk and in fear,
that you would hold and protect them.
We pray in the name of Jesus, the Prince of Реасе.
Amen.
