With Gratitude and Prayer: Fr. Louis Lougen, OMI

Fr. Louis LOUGEN, OMI, former Superior General, has been under medical care in recent weeks, and we thank God for the excellent support he continues to receive. His medical team is optimistic about the treatment, though the recovery process will take time and can be tiring. It may be a few months before Fr. Lougen can return to full-time ministry.

He is deeply grateful for the prayers and support from the Oblate community across the world. While he wishes he could respond personally to every message, he is focusing on rest during this period of recovery. He reassures everyone that he remains united in prayer with the Oblate family and offers this time of illness for the good of the Congregation.

Together as a Charismatic family, we lift up Fr. Lougen in prayer and remember all who are facing illness, as well as those who accompany them. May St. Eugene de Mazenod intercede for them.
