Provincial Retreat

On April 24th, 26 Oblates gathered at Queen of Apostles Retreat Centre in Mississauga, ON for a three-day Provincial Retreat.

Fr. Ray Warren, OMI, currently the Director of the De Mazenod House Retreat & Spirituality Centre in central London, guided us in our retreat. Ray is the former Provincial of the Anglo-Irish Province and has served as a pastor at parishes in the UK and Ireland. Ray has also served as a Constitutions and Rules Committee member for many years.

The theme of our retreat was Oblate Perseverance: Continuing to be Pilgrims of Hope in Communion. Ray offered us a reflection on fidelity to Religious life. He shared from his own experience and offered insight into the calls of the 37th Chapter.
