We Pray With You
Every day, people reach out to MAMI with prayers for themselves, their families, friends and loved ones. These intentions are often deeply personal, and we are grateful for the trust placed in us.
Prayer gives us a way to bring what is in our hearts before God — our hopes, worries, gratitude, questions and longing. It reminds us that we do not carry these things alone.

Novenas
Novenas are a traditional and meaningful form of Catholic prayer. A novena is a series of prayers offered over nine consecutive days, usually for a particular intention. For many Catholics, a novena is a way of making a special commitment to prayer and placing an intention, hope or concern in God’s hands.
There are many different novenas dedicated to various saints and intentions. Most take only a few minutes each day, making them a simple practice that can become part of your daily routine.
You can pray for a very specific intention or for something more general that is important to you or someone you love. You may pray a novena whenever you feel called to do so. Setting aside a particular time each day can help you remember and remain faithful to the nine days of prayer.
All you need is an intention, an open heart and a few minutes each day.
MAMI’s Annual Novena
Each spring, AMMI Lacombe Canada MAMI organizes an annual novena. During this special time, hundreds of people including Mission Associates, Oblates and friends of the mission, come together in prayer as one family.
Each day of the novena, a special Mass is offered by our missionaries for the intentions of those participating, as well as for their families and loved ones.
As we bring our own intentions to prayer, we also encourage you to remember the women and men who are carrying out the mission of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate around the world. Your prayers support them in their ministry and in the communities they serve.
